There are nearly endless combinations of delicious sushi to enjoy in Japan. Yet Toyota GAZOO Racing and Sushiro restaurants have launched a new collaboration that adds the creative touch of GR toy cars with select sushi meals.
During the promotion that runs from Aug. 5 – 30, customers at participating Sushiro restaurants across Japan can receive a limited-edition collaboration GR miniature car as a gift when ordering special sushi sets from the menu.
Featured GR car models include the GR86, GR Supra, GR Corolla, and GR Yaris, all trimmed with special collaboration Sushiro x GR livery.
Sushiro’s menu item, “GAZOO Racing Collaboration Limited Mini Car & Box Make Your Own Sushi Set” includes a GR mini car along with a GAZOO Racing Collaboration Limited Box. Making sushi, from nigiri to wrapping, is a dining experience for customers to enjoy, with mini rice, seaweed, and toppings that include tuna, salmon, cucumber, corn, and egg.
The Limited Box can be used to store a GR mini car. When it’s assembled, it looks like a six-wheel transporter truck, including GAZOO Racing and Sushiro marks.
Take the box apart, turn it over, and it transforms into a “racetrack”, including oval and slope courses, to enjoy with a GR mini car.
The second special menu item, “GAZOO Racing Collaboration Limited Edition Miniature Car Included: 7-Piece Assortment of Natural Bluefin Tuna”, features assorted tuna, including otoro (fatty tuna), three pieces of chutoro (medium-fatty tuna), and negitoro (minced tuna with green onions). (This menu item does not include the Limited Box.)
Also included with each meal is a special Sushiro x GR collaboration sheet, randomly selected from one of the four styles shown above.
Additional elements of the collaboration include a “GR Sushiro Cup” video, a special collaboration store with interior decorations, and “DigiRo” (Digital Sushiro Vision) touch display at select Sushiro stores.

Notes: This promotion is only available at participating Sushiro locations in Japan and is subject to change without notice. Sushiro says that one limited-edition collaboration mini-car will be provided at random for each eligible product purchased and customers cannot choose the design. Sales will end when the total number collaboration mini cars is sold out. “Sushiro To Go” and “Kyotaru Sushiro” are not participating in this promotion.
