The all-new, third-generation Nissan LEAF looks sleek and futuristic with its crossover body style and aero-efficient fastback profile. For those seeking to enhance the sporty look, Nissan has unveiled a customized version of the new EV, called LEAF AUTECH, that will be available in Japan.
AUTECH is a premium sporty sub-brand that offers a variety of parts and accessories to customize and personalize Nissan vehicles. Customers can also select completely finished vehicles, including the new LEAF AUTECH.
Based on the B7 version of the LEAF, exterior enhancements begin with an AUTECH exclusive front, rear, and side lower body kit with metallic-finish. Also included is a black front fascia shield, signature LEDs, AUTECH logos, and power folding mirrors with metallic finish and side turn signals.
Special 19-inch alloy wheels feature a dark metallic finish and multi-spoke design. Exterior body colors offer five choices, including Deep Ocean Blue with a Super Black roof. AUTECH says that blue is the brand’s iconic color, “evoking the image of the sea and sky of Chigasaki, Shonan, where the brand originated.”
AUTECH interior enhancements include a tailor-wrapped steering wheel with blue stitching, black instrument panel with blue stitching and piping, AUTECH logos, and black armrest with center console box. The new LEAF B7 in Japan has a 78kWH battery, 12.3-inch dual displays, and offers AC external power supply connector, plus V2H (Vehicle to Home) functionality.
LEAF AUTECH seats are trimmed with exclusive black TailorFit™ material, and include AUTECH logo embroidery with blue stitching. TailorFit is described as a next-generation material that provides comfort and a soft feel. Black door trim is also included.
Additional manufacturer options include black roof rails, panoramic glass roof with overhead console, plus ProPilot 2.0 and ProPilot Remote Parking. For the finishing touch, AUTECH dealer-installed options offer door step plates with the AUTECH logo, dark center wheel caps, and floor mats with blue stitching and the AUTECH logo.
