2024 Honda WR-V Preview – Customize It With Cool Accessories from Honda Access

By Steve Laser

Honda offers nearly a dozen models in Japan, from the popular N-BOX and N-WGN mini vehicles, to the Civic and Type R, and the ZR-V and Vezel SUVs. The lineup is set to grow next spring when Honda welcomes a new sibling to the family, called WR-V.

While the small crossover features attractive styling, customers will be able to customize their rides with new accessories from Honda Access. The “Tough Style” theme, shown above and below, enhances the WR-V with bolder good looks.

Accessories include a black and chrome front grille, front lower garnish, LED fog lights, and side fender garnish featuring the WR-V logo. A power-folding side mirror function is also available, and so is a navigation/smartphone-linked drive recorder with integrated camera.

The roster also offers a storm silver metallic side lower garnish, rear lower garnish, chrome exhaust pipe finisher, stainless steel side step plates, and LEDs that project the WR-V logo onto the ground when the front doors are opened at nighttime.

The top-line Z+ interior is shown above with dealer-installed options including a Honda Connect “Gathers Series” navigation system. Honda Connect also offers in-car Wi-Fi, automatic map updates, and remote air conditioning operation.

WR-V features a spacious cabin environment with an emphasis on comfort and ease of use. A suite of Honda Sensing driving support functions includes Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Support, Sign Recognition, Auto High Beam, and Parking Sensor System.

A 1.5-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine and Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is standard on the X, Z, and Z+ models. Additional product information is expected to be released by Honda prior to the WR-V launch in Japan.

Note: Prototype vehicles are shown; features and specifications of accessories planned for Japan market models are subject to change without notice
