How popular is the Nissan Juke in Europe? Since the first generation was launched in 2010, the Nissan Sunderland Plant in the UK has built more than 1.3 million units.
Now in its second generation, Nissan has rewarded the compact SUV with a refresh for 2024, including the addition of a new N-Sport trim level.
The dynamic appearance of N-Sport, when finished in the new Iconic Yellow exterior color, is accented with a contrasting black roof, grille, mirrors, fender trim, roof pillars, and inserts on the bumpers and rocker panels. N-Sport rides on new 19-inch black Akari alloy wheels wrapped with 225/45R-19 tires.
Juke continues to offer a choice of powerplants. Hybrid models sport a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder gas engine teamed with an electric motor, starter-generator, inverter and liquid-cooled battery. Combined output is 143ps (105kW) and 148Nm torque. Non-hybrids feature a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder DIG-T turbo engine (114ps) with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT.
Nissan updated the Juke’s interior with a redesigned instrument panel and center console. N-Sport features yellow highlights on the dash, a new 12.3-inch TFT combi-meter screen, and a new NissanConnect 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The home screen allow users to configure widgets for frequently used functions, similar to smart phone style. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are included, along with a wireless phone charger, plus USB-A and USB-C ports for front and rear passengers.
N-Sport front seats continue the trendy styling theme with black and yellow Alcantara® quilt inserts, yellow stitching, and Juke lettering embossed on the seatbacks. Bose® Personal® Plus Ultra NearField speakers are mounted in the headrests for increased listening pleasure.
Safety and driver assist features on N-Sport include Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian and Cyclist Recognition, Lane Departure Warning with Intelligent Lane Intervention, Blind Spot Intervention and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Intelligent Around View Monitor, and Regenerative Braking (hybrid).
