Subaru, and its motorsports company, Subaru Tecnica International (STI), are planning to exhibit an array of performance cars and parts at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon 2026.
Special editions based on the WRX S4, Levorg, and Impreza are scheduled to make their debut. The display also showcases individual STI performance parts for customizing and enhancing Subaru vehicles, along with racing cars planned to compete in upcoming motorsports activities.
The following highlights a trio of display vehicles based on preliminary information supplied by Subaru. Additional details are expected to be announced at the show.
WRX S4 STI Sport R-Black Limited II STI Performance
Subaru plans to take the current WRX S4 STI Sport R EX grade to the next level with modifications to the exterior and interior. Preliminary highlights include the debut of Sunrise Yellow body color, matte black 18-inch alloy wheels, and black trim, along with Subaru accessories, and STI performance parts. The cabin features RECARO® front seats with black stitching and yellow perforations, and a suede-style instrument panel.
Levorg STI Sport R-Black Limited II STI Performance
Levorg is the name of Subaru’s sporty performance wagon, now in its second generation. (A separate model, called Levorg Layback, features crossover styling cues.) The exhibit model, based on the Levorg STI Sport EX, includes Sunrise Yellow body color with black wheels and trim, Subaru accessories, and STI performance parts. It also gains RECARO® seats and interior trim similar to the WRX S4 on display.
Impreza ST-H STI Performance Edition Plus Package
Subaru enhances the current Impreza ST-H grade with STI performance parts. Preliminary details include black exterior mods and red accents for the interior. Subaru offers a wide array of Impreza models in Japan, including those equipped with 2.0-liter gas engines and e-BOXER powertrains, along with the choice of front- or all-wheel drive.
