Subaru is expanding its lineup of electric vehicles with the addition of the all-new Uncharted for 2026. The new compact crossover joins the Solterra and upcoming Trailseeker EVs, giving Subaru a trio of all-electric choices.

The name Uncharted brings to mind new adventures and discovering new places. Subaru offers the choice of three models, with Premium FWD, Sport AWD, and GT AWD. All feature an athletic design, with a coupe-like silhouette.

Styling details include a sleek front fascia with neatly integrated Subaru-signature lighting that features a six-star illuminated logo, LED headlights, and headlight washers.

A two-tone roof is available on the GT, while low-profile roof rails are standard on Sport and GT. Eighteen-inch alloy wheels with black aero-covers are fitted to the Premium and Sport, with 20-inch alloys with black spoke inserts standard on GT.

Premium FWD, rated at 221 horsepower (165 kW), has a preliminary estimated range of more than 300 miles. Sport and GT feature dual motors with 338 hp (252 kW), and an estimated range of 285 miles. All-Wheel Drive with X-MODE®, standard on the top two trims, includes Snow, Dirt and Deep Snow, and Mud modes.

Uncharted is equipped with an NACS port, providing the ability for DC fast charging, from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 28 minutes. The standard 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery also offers AC charging, an 11 kW onboard charger, and a battery preconditioning system.

Standard on all models is a 14-inch Subaru Multimedia System, 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, dual wireless device chargers, and four USB-C ports. Sport and GT add a 360-degree surround view monitor, while a Harman Kardon® sound system with 11 speakers is included on GT.

StarTex® seating surfaces are standard on Sport and GT. Orange interior accents contribute to the sporty interior ambience on all models. Heated front seats are standard, Sport adds a heated steering wheel, while GT gains ventilated front seats and heated outboard rear seats.

Safety and driver assist features include the Subaru EyeSight® system with Pre-Collision Brake Assist, Front and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Departure Alert, and Emergency Stop Assist. Traffic Jam Assist and Lane Change Assist are also available.
