2026 Honda N-ONE e: Preview – Customize Premium Style with Honda Access

By Steve Laser

Honda is expanding its lineup of the popular N Series in Japan with the new N-ONE e: all-electric mini-vehicle. While it shares its name with the existing N-ONE gas engine model, the new EV is a sibling to Honda’s N-VAN e: light commercial vehicle that was introduced last year.

Honda Access is offering an array of genuine accessories to dress up and personalize the new N-ONE e: along with providing charging and power supply options. Shown above and below is an N-ONE e: dressed with Premium Style themed exterior accessories.

Accessory stripes on the hood, roof, sides, and tailgate enhance the N-ONE e: sporty character. Also shown is a rear spoiler, side window shades, black side mirrors, and a set of good-looking alloy wheels.

While the front panel on upcoming regular production models has a monotone, Honda Access offers this Decal Front Grille that adds black and silver accents, giving the N-ONE e: a more customized appearance.

The AC external power supply accessory, also called the Honda Power Supply Connector, allows future owners to employ the vehicle’s drive battery as a power source. Honda Access says that appliances up to 1,500W can be used outdoors. Additional accessories include a charging indicator, charging cable (AC 200V/16A), and port lid cover.

The new N-ONE e: is planned to go on sale in Japan starting in the fall of this year. While cruising range is likely to be more than 270km in WLTC mode, powertrain specifications and additional details are expected to be announced closer to vehicle launch.

Exterior Design Heritage

The new N-ONE e: is the latest modern evolution of the N360 (below left), Honda’s first commercially successful mini passenger car, introduced nearly 60 years ago. The gas-powered heritage-inspired N-ONE (right) joined the lineup in 2012, and is shown with a previously available SS Neo Classic Racer Package.

The special edition package started out with an N-ONE Premium Tourer Lowdown (lowered) model, adding a custom racing style stripe on the hood, 15-inch black monotone alloy wheels, black door handles and side moldings (“SS” stands for “Suzuka Special”).

The gas N-ONE is currently offered in Original, Premium Tourer (turbo), and RS turbo models, with the choice of front- or 4WD. Power is supplied by a 660cc 3-cylinder engine, teamed with a CVT, or available 6-speed manual transmission for the RS.

Note: Pre-production N-ONE e: vehicles are shown. Features, specifications, launch timing, and availability of vehicles and accessories for future Japan market models are subject to change without notice.
