Already on sale in Japan (as the Vezel), the all-new Honda HR-V Hybrid is headed to Europe. Deliveries are slated to begin this November in the UK, followed by France, Spain, Italy and other countries in early 2022.
Available exclusively with Honda’s two-motor self-charging e:HEV hybrid powertrain technology, HR-V is the latest chapter in Honda’s playbook to electrify all of its mainstream models in Europe by 2022.
Honda UK makes it easy for customers to explore the new HR-V without leaving their homes thanks to the new Virtual Showroom experience.
The HR-V digital 360-degree tour offers three different urban, rural, and family environment selections: “Seamlessly Connected,” “Ultra-Responsive,” and “Cleverly Packaged.”
Like virtual home tours, customers can take a closer look at the exterior and interior via content hotspots. We tried it out and liked the HR-V videos and photo galleries in each of the environments. The new HR-V Hybrid range in the UK starts with the Elegance model, featuring LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, seamless smartphone connectivity, and Honda Sensing™ safety and driver assist technologies.
Moving up to the Advance adds a power liftgate with hands-free access, heated steering wheel, and synthetic leather and fabric interior trim. The top Advance Style gains premium audio, two-tone paint and orange cabin detailing.
We really like the new generation Honda HR-V Hybrid. After taking a digital tour, the only question that we have is, “When is it coming to America?”
